Presentations

I have given several presentations over the years, you can find a lot of them - especially the ones that are related to Wikipedia or free licenses - on my contributions on Wikimedia Commons.

I am uploading my presentations here, available for everyone to download:

My presentation for the event "Open data, Wikimedia and S4PG” event, part of ["The Future of Meeting (TFOM)"][tfom]. This event is centered around "Science for Public Good" (S4PG) and it explores Wikimedia, open data, and the public good. I have been invited, together with Amanda Jurno, and Daniel Mietchen to talk about open data and Wikimedia, creating positive outcomes for the public good through dissemination of and access to scientific data and knowledge, including as open tools for education. ([Eventbrite event](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/s4pg-x-tfom-themed-gathering-open-data-wikimedia-and-s4pg-tickets-467320677727))

A presentation for the "Cloud Computing and Networking" course of the ICT Doctoral School of the University of Trento I took in 2015. The paper presented is ["Data mining for internet of things: A survey"][dmiotpaper] by Tsai, Chun-Wei, et al. (Communications Surveys & Tutorials, IEEE 16.1 (2014): 77-97.)
